Arctic Wolf is a cybersecurity company that acts as an outsourced security team for other businesses, watching their networks, cloud accounts, and devices around the clock and responding when something looks like an attack. Founded in 2012 and based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, it built its name on managed detection and response (MDR) and has since expanded into vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, and employee security training — largely through acquisitions, most notably BlackBerry’s Cylance endpoint security business in December 2024. Privately held and backed by investors like Viking Global and Blue Owl, Arctic Wolf was valued at roughly $4.4 billion in 2024.
